It has been 25 years since the establishment of the Peter Munk Cardiac Centre at University Health Network (UHN). This world-class program is one of the reasons why UHN is consistently ranked in the top five healthcare organizations in the world.

We are privileged to care for some of the sickest patients in need of cardiovascular services in Canada. It’s this level of clinical care, research and education that has led to our global reputation and recognition. In truth, no one program is able to deliver on the promise of A Healthier World, without the ongoing support of all the many other programs and services that provide critical collaboration in the care of our patients. So, while we celebrate the Peter Munk Cardiac Centre, we are celebrating all who contribute to making UHN Canada’s research hospital.

Building and sustaining a world-class cardiovascular centre, requires the extraordinary skills of our team, the faith of our patients, and the generosity of our donors. We are truly lucky to have earned all three in abundance.
